Free School Under The Bridge

We at GoBarefoot starting this new series of #GoBarefootRealHeroes under which we would be sharing stories of people who are working for the community. In the first story of #GoBarefootRealHeroes we are sharing the story of Mr Rajesh Kumar Sharma.

Rajesh Kumar Sharma started a school which is now known as “FREE SCHOOL UNDER THE BRIDGE “ under the yamuna flyover in Delhi in 2006 with only 2 students.Sharma sir dropped out of college because of financial difficulties.By profession he is a shopkeeper but spends a lot of time teaching around 200 children from the poorest of the poor in Delhi to make sure that the poor kids achieve which he couldn’t.
The school runs two sessions a day-two hours for boys in the morning and two hours for the 120 girls who attend in the afternoon.

We,at Gobarefoot salute Mr Sharma for doing this for these poor children and urge everybody to go and help him in anyway you can.
