You’re a Daughter
You’re a daughter
Somewhere, life forces you to believe
What you’re not supposed to believe
You put all your heart and hard work
Into something and someone
But that still isn’t enough
Every human is made in a different way
So he or she can live in a different way, and love in a different way
But the world wants you to change
In its own way
Whether you like it or not
Whether it squeezes your heart or not
You’re bad otherwise
You see, had you been a son
You could have been asked to step out
And lead your life your way
And you would be loved
But alas! You’re a daughter!
